    Chores you hate to do

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Leaka, Sep 7, 2008.

What are those household chores you hate?
    Why do hate these chores?
Do you procrastinate on these chores?

I don't like cleaning the kitchen.
    I don't have a reason why I don't like it.

Lawn mowing. I especially hate it during the really hot days of the summer when I've got to mow a section without any shade.

I have no problem with taking out the trash.
Just like I don't mind taking out the recyclables.

I don't like cleaning counters especially kitchen counters.

    I hate washing the dishes.
This is probably because I do a full sink load at least twice a day, by hand.
There's no dishwasher in my house. -tear-

    Yeah right, I wish! ;]
Even if I did, the kitchen is tiny and there would be nowhere to put it.
    So I must continue struggling!

Oh, I also hate folding laundry and sorting out socks. It really irritates me. :/

The one thing I kind of enjoy doing is vacuuming. Why? I don't know!

I don't like picking up stuff off the floors nor cleaning in the bathroom. These are the chores that I always procrastinate.

Folding clothes isn't so bad because I just put in a DVD and watch it while I fold clothes. Plus I have to fold clothes on Saturday otherwise there will not be enough pants in the closets for my children for the following week.

I can't say I really like doing chores at all though. I wish I could get someone else or my children to do them all.

    Moping the floor! Ugh!

I will clean ten toilets and five bathtubs before I will mop one floor. NO LIKE!

loading and unloading the dishwasher. Very hard on my back.

    vacuming for the same reason.

I like folding clothes but hate putting them away when done.

I love grocery shopping but hate other types of shopping.

I am beginning to hate cooking because with only 2 to cook for it is boring.

the main thing I hate is doing the washing. I don't mind sorting it into piles and putting it in the machine. But hanging it out, bringing it in, folding it... I hate. Only because it causes me so much pain in my shoulders and I almost pass out every time.

One chore I love to pieces is ironing. I could literally iron clothing all day, every day. (I stand there and wonder if I had someone pinned to the point they couldn't move, and I placed the iron their stomach, would it eventually burn all the way through.... plus many other scenarios... I have a sick and twisted mind! LOL!)

Get yourself a dryer or steal a dryer.
Or steal a house with a dryer and use th dryer.
Preferably a house real close to you.

I always think, when I am ironing, that I am ironing someone's skin. Like I had pealed their skin off to make myself a nice suit or something.
Laundry is when I get most of my crazy horror story ideas.
That is why I am allergic to laundry.
I don't want to scare anyone.
I am really innocent I promise you that.
