    Hey y'all!

I'm a new member of the forum, wanted to introduce myself. If anybody wants to discuss literally anything, I'm a pretty avid conversationalist.

Look forward to working with everybody!

I'm a pretty big fan of writing in the genres of Science Fiction (hence my tin) and High Fantasy. I really enjoy world building. Sometimes a peddle around with dark comedy.

What's your favorite part of those genres and making the worlds within them?

I mentioned above some of the stuff I like writing. What about you?

General stuff about me... uhhhhhhhhhh. I enjoy learning about history. I love hiking and the outdoors. My dog is currently staring at me like I am a magician because I made cookies appear out of a box.

Howdy! I hope I do too. I regrettably live in a life without any real writer friends, so I'm hoping this will work as a kind of surrogate

I like history too. I like writing stuff that involves it, historical fiction, but it varies. My main interest is humanity and complexity. I write serious stories, although I spice it with occasional comedy and some are lighter than others. I like to make complex characters in complex plots. The only issue is getting it all out of my head. (The eternal struggle)
Your dog sounds adorable. I love dogs. My dog does that too.

I look to history a lot for inspiration. Today actually I was listening to Dan Carlin's podcast about the Persian Empire and it inspired me to work out some things in my own story. Stuff about their military units and the way they organized their archers.

I like complexity as well. It's a pain but so rewarding in the end.

And he is adorable. His name is Charlie. He's a mutt. My girlfriend and I are certain he's got some beagle in him and some boxer, but there is definitely some other stuff in there.
