ok so this summer i AM going to finish my book. i will write a chapter a day until i finish. starting tonight. there is no reason for me to just waste my time doing nothing when i could be on the way to a great writing career!
You go! If you need motivation, I believe they're doing campnano things. I find nano fun and motivating so, you could try that.

That's what I want to try and do myself. Spend this summer actually writing a story, rather than wasting it away in front of the internet.
Hope you're still working at it! I'm hoping to do something like this with my planning and writing after Thursday since that's my last exam for my undergrad degree eveeeer!

Why not just start now? Many times do I find myself speaking to myself saying, "YOU SAID YOU WERE GOING TO START YOUR PROJECT RIGHT NOW!" Guess what? I did not and I want to hit my head on the forehead. Monday I'm going to begin. Tuesday I'm going to begin. I just need to start right now. RIGHT NOW. I'm getting lazy. You're right, start writing.
