And sent...NO! Silver...why'd you have to leave just as...gah. Guess my awesome new character (which I like better than Truffle) will have to wait till tommorrow. In the meantime I'll write a post and post it as soon as Averic Pallos is approved.

 

Completing Grotto quests in Dragon Quest IX is tedious, yet fun and adictive strangely.

 

Gah! I wanna post so badly!! Can't wait till tommorrow. I think you'll like him Pheonix. Your character won't like him...but you will. At least I hope so.

Physical Description/Picture:Averic has short black hair sprinkled with gray. A black beard on his chin is also speckled with gray, but cleanly cut and well kept. His eyes are kind and twinkle with a sense of humor. He stands at about 6 feet and his build shows of his apparent strength. A small scar on his cheek is daily reminder of what he has lost, and why he fights for justice for others.
He wears a set of armor that has obviously seen many battles and a white cape hangs off his shoulders. A large sword hangs on his belt. Inscripted into it's handle is it's name, Torinas, meaning Justice.

Background:For the past 22 years Averic has questing in multiple regions of the world, doing what he can to ease the suffering of others and to bring justice to those who take advantage of the helpless. Before that, he had a wife and daughter. Both were killed and to this day he blames himself.

Abilities:

Ability 1: Blazing Sword

Description: He fights as well as any knight with a blade. But when he uses Blazing Sword, Torinas, absorbs the energy of the sun. It blazes with a blinding light and heat, capable of cutting through most barriers. It lasts no longer than one minute.
Fuel: Sunlight

Ability 2: Light Orbs
Level: Weak
Type: Active
Alignment: Lux
Description: These orbs of light don't blaze bright enough to blind a person but are hot enough to burn a person upon contact. He can use these either as a tool of attack or to light the way in the dark.
Fuel: Combination of Sunlight and magic. If Averic has enough sunlight stored from the day in his body then he can use magic to activate them.

Ability 3: Burning Shield
Level: weak
Type: Passive
Alignment: Lux
Description: If Averic is about to get hit he can summon a sheild that burns hot enough to destroy incoming spells or long range attacks. It can't destroy swords but it can heat them up quickly if they stay on the sheild too long.

Presenting Volten! the lightning thieve!

Volten is a short boy about 15 years old. He is a very fast nimble creature with a one piece shirt with two big yellow stripes going horizontally across it, comes down past his waist and splays out a little, almost like a dress.. Below the black short shorts that hug his skin. His eye's are bright and full of mischief his hair is a bright blond. He also wears sandals.

he has a very long thin tale ending in two yellow prongs, similar structures can be found on his head. short but sharp claws adorn his fingers. He a little dirty and he usually has a no good smirk on his face.

History: Volten has been on his own for years, he has no family save for a little girl he sometimes visits at a foster home. Because of this he had to learn how to make it on his own that's when he earned the name lightning thief. He steals EVERYTHING, from money to trinkets. Anything he can sell he swipes. He got so good at it the authorities gave up chasing him, and he earned that name. The real mystery is...what is he using the money for? Volten does not look rich at all.

Abilites: Physicaly Volten is short but very fast, his long tale which is double the length of his body is very strong and can easily lift him. It also gives him an amazing sense of balance, Volten can tight ripe across anything.

Description: Volten charges electricity, his next electric attack will do double the damage, but he is unable to attack or defend while charging. it temporarily raises both defense points by one for that turn only.

Fuel: (Volten has an internal electricity in him that he draws on for all his skills, while it makes him able to use any skill anytime, it runs out of charge after a number of attacks, he then can't do much and has to rest and recharge.)

Description: Volten hits the foes with his tale, it acts like a tazor, stunning the foe

Haha. I read lighting theif and I saw Percy Jackson: The Lightning Theif. Your character looks very interesting.

 

This is shaping up well, so far. The characters we have are very unique, so character relations are going to be fun!

I'm going to wait for the rest of the characters to be introduced, COUGH! COUGH! (Exzalia), then I'm going to start a fight that will lead into the story.

@Silver: You mean for the overuse of the terminatio -tahlia/-thalia in my characters?

 

It seems to appear in certain characters of yours, yes.

 

@Silver: Just remember, regarding the game in the one they appear, if they have that termination, then they're connected in some way or another.
