Thanks so much for your kind words. At my unit about two hundreds Marines all got together today, for a video from our Commandant, followed by the traditional cake cutting and exchange of gifts between the oldest Marine in our unit to the youngest the Marine. It means a lot to be honored. I hope we can live up to the vision and expectations people have of us. Happy Birthday.
I'm the oldest and youngest Marine I know of between here and Iwakuni, so I'll just be going out to dinner with Mrs. A as we usually do, but I may order a shot. Have to work in the morning anyway, the last time I celebrated the Ball was 1999 or 2000 when I was still stateside, with the Marine Corps League at the VFW hall.
Wait what? lol My birthday is May 29th. Same as JFK, Bob Hope, Eric Davis, and Danial Tosh. If you already bought me presents however, I'll still take them.
