    Oh....wow...

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by SonnehLee, Aug 6, 2008.

So, I was writing today, and I finish up this paragraph, and I read over it and think "Well, maybe I should just start a new chapter here." Then I reread it a few times, and came to a stunning realization:

    I was finished.

Of course, I still have all my revisions to do, but the initial draft is done.

    I'm in shock.

Ha, Tor, I've got the next plot planned out already. :)

And thirdwind, I'm not really sure. Maybe, but, not right now.

That is great to hear emily. I'm hoping to get back into writing stories again soon... I've got a piece I've been working on for a while now. But my poetry has taken up most of my time, and studies, and my reading.

Yeah, I had summer vacation, and wrote nearly 100 pages, (which makes my summer speed three times as fast as my school year speed) but now that school is starting up, I won't have near as much time. So my studies will probably be taking up a great deal of time also.

On the plus side, registration day is friday and there is an 87% chance my homeroom teacher (also my english teacher who inspired me to start writing) will let my write/revise in her classroom while she reads the school handbook.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you then emily. Time is valuable when it comes to writing, that is for sure.

Yeah, even though I'm one who would gladly give up sleep for her writing. Which has absolutely nothing to do with me nearly failing math. :D The biggest thing is that I told my parents. Which was something I thought I would never do.

I don't give up sleep for writing. Cause if I did that, I'd never be able to sleep. I don't sleep enough as it is... :p

I lose enough sleep because of my family and my children. If I lost anymore sleep, I'd never sleep. I got less than 2 hours lastnight because of my daughter who does not believe in sleep. <she takes after me>

Um...well...in a nutshell it's about a pregnant teen. But I like to think there's more to it than that.

    And Tor's daughter's name is Ami. :)
