    Online Publishing Platform

Discussion in 'Publishing' started by ki7910, Nov 18, 2013.

I'm wanting to/considering including opinion-based articles(up to 1200 words) on my website aimed at young adults.

I can't afford to pay any writers since the website wouldn't generate any income, so the website would really only allow the writer to get published on a semi-professional platform, as well as engage in the comments section discussion, perhaps getting some feedback/opinions from the public.

Considering most of the people on this forum are writers, what would you be expecting out of getting published on a website like this?

    Thanks for any feedback!

Well, these days anyone can publish themselves on the Internet. So my thought would be, how is this different from the writer starting their own blog or website?

i would be interested in writing for the website. I guess what I would expect to get out of it is a readership, and somewhere to get my writing published.
