Hey guys I started writing a couple of weeks ago, and tomorrow I'm buying my first Parker jotter to start with, which ink is best though? I was drawn to Quink flow as it dries super fast, but not sure. Any advice would be helpful thank you
Ahh now, @Sooty884 it depends on: Speed you write How close together your lines are Absorbency of said Parker jotter Which hand you write with... And the ambient humidity. See me, now I'm a left hander and write in a damp shed and my efforts can, without great dexterity and careful attention, resemble a Rorschach print of scary spidery resemblance. No chance of story decipherment when it comes to draft 2. Suggest: Easing pacing Double spacing Blotting paper to hand (left hand... because...)... You write with your right hand <-- it saves you the trailing draggage of the palmaris brevis over your fine ink work And a dehumidifier. <-- dries your ink as you go. Of course I've not considered flow rate through the nib and viscosity of Quink. Blimey it's complicated.
