I'm trying to find a job for one of my original characters in a romantic erotica story in which he is a university student studying to be a history teacher. What would you suggest for someone that will discover his kink to be public sex with exhibitionism? At first, I thought he could be a guide in a museum, this because I could show how knowledgeable he was and very passionate about history. But I have no idea if that is still a thing. What do you guys think? Or is there a better job where I could explore better the student discovery?

They do still have museum guides and I think that makes sense. I imagine it could offer some potential scenes for the kink. Another option is somewhere more casual and that potentially has locker rooms. Gyms, pools, etc... But that's just where my mind goes. It creates an easy way for the character to find themselves in an exhibition situation or offers them the opportunity to get away with some exhibitionism and claim it was normal. But I say go with the museum if it's calling to you. I think it's better to pick what inspires the writer.

Of course, the character options are also available, but I wanted a place where he could show off himself. This because in a museum you can have all kinds of people and ages. Another concern of mine is if a guide is paid well. I tried to research for guides in museums but I can't find anything for a reference unless being a guide is still a thing but rare? For the other character, he is an art professor but he also is a painter, so he will look for private models. And of course to have some extra money the student will grab this chance and discover of course that the painter is very observant, so yes this will help both parties. I have an interesting scene when the student gets the interview. That indeed is a more realistic way of things. But in my story, I want something that is close to the character's ambitions, not there but close.

No you don't, writing by committee is a terrible way to go about things. Asking for suggestions is one thing, but you need to make your own decisions.
Libraries for sure, so many stacks and nooks and crannies on various floors that never see a soul, but people pass not 10 feet away from them.
As far as I know it is quite hard to get a job in a museum, especially the job you really want. It's a job most people stay in for years, though they still could get it through a friend or relative. Most students work in bars/resturants/cafes or office administration. How about them working in a bar or club which has a special room, one day they see into THE room - it's the erotic sex room which sparks something inside them. The other idea I had was that if you wanted to go along the museum/ history idea. Could they be a walking tour guide (like the walking tours of the freedom trail in Boston), after all they will then know all of the best public places (statues, parks, train station etc)
I used to work in a gym (not in college but right after), and those situations are 100% true. The things you see and the things that happen behind closed doors are absolutely real. Where it applies to a college student with a part time job, the most obvious ones that would fit your narrative have been mentioned: - Gym/Fitness center - Library - Bartender - Movie theater - Art student/model Another one that may work would be a TA (teacher's assistant.) I've known about a lot of interesting stories from those who held that role. Also, security at sporting events/concerts would work as well - lots of students have those jobs.
