I remember the definition a little. I think it means a midnight watch or guard duty, or a midnight expedition or something. I can't remember the damn word though, but I think someone should get it pretty quick, even though the definition might be a bit off. It is only one word.
lol..glad to hear you have. there has got to be a way of remembering word maybe the word should say what it means..like night is self descriptive if not a good way is to give them an accrostic definition that should link them to describe the word. VIGIL the lette N should be there to indicate night the letter C for candle should be there or a W should be there to indicate wacth.. I reckon this how one could invent new words to mean something..letters that make the words should evoke the image it conveys. thank you for this thread..it made me think
