    6th of June, 1944

Discussion in 'Research' started by Lifeline, Jun 5, 2016.

I don't quite know where to put this. But .. tomorrow is the 6th of June and to me that is important. For all of you who don't know what this means, that was the day in 1944 when the allied troopes landed in France. D-Day. So please don't use this phrase lightly.

This is my attempt to remind myself of what went on then. And in other places, and at other times.

I was unaware of that. but the date did stick out to me manly because tomorrow, June 6th is my ten year wedding anniversary. (6/6/2006 in Las Vegas) I will stop at the jokes I could make but will take a moment to reflect on the date and what it means.
