I can't post links on my Kindle, but basically a gang of drunk douches beat a young woman to death for walking in front of their camera and screwing up their photo. What is wrong with people these days? Oh, and there were a lot of people standing around video taping it. Why would they do that? Is it what is considered "funny?" If so, I'm definitely behind the times. Really though, discuss. And if someone knows what I'm talking about and wants to post a link, that would be much appreciated.

Seems like there is more to the story as it is bring reported that two groups were involved in a verbal altercation before a melee developed and the victim was caught in it. Still awful though. Usually the words 'predawn' and 'nightclub' end up in a bad situation.
The punishment of murderer (death penalty) has been canceled In some countries . So what is the result?? People fall in danger and gangs feel free !! Yes, I know execution is not a pleasant thing but have you thought who is going to be executed ?? A heartless and bloodthirsty murderer that has killed some innocent persons like this woman. An aggressive and brutal tiger that kills others cruelly by a gun, knife or iron bars without any fear of death penalty. Such a law ( requesting the death penalty for a guilty murder in the court) is the right of the victim's family. If the death penalty law was not removed, the killer would avoid killing others so simple. In our country if someone kills another person intentionally, there are three legal right (choice) for victim's family in the court : 1- They are rightful to request the death penalty for killer 2- They can apply to their victim's blood money ( its amount is about $ 50000 nowadays ) 3- They are free to forgive the killer to be exempted from any penalty As you observe, the punishment of the killer in not the right of the court but is the right of the victim's family. It is good you know, this is the origin law of Islam about intentionally murder.
uh... yeah... that's a no-brainer, imo... crowds of lookers-on watching some poor innocent victim get stomped to death and not lifting a finger [or even a voice!] to stop it?... nothing new, kids... look up 'colosseum' [the one in rome] and you'll see that humans' favorite pastime hasn't changed much in millennia... today's gory electronic 'games' and their real life counterparts like this latest 'event' are nothing more than the evolution of roman emperors' idea of 'fun'... having the ability to share it with the world via utube just 'doubles the pleasure, doubles the fun' for the lowest of the low who have a 'moral compass' comparable to nero's and the marquis de sade's...
On the flip side: All the people in the Boston Marathon crowd who rushed in, despite the possibility of more bombs, to render aid to those horribly wounded. The man who yesterday risked his life to pull a woman from the cab of an overturned gasoline truck with flames higher than the surrounding trees. The good Samaritans who recently helped a driver escape his car which was inverted and several feet submerged in an icy pond. There are many of these stories on the news, always and lately. Yes, some people won't get involved, won't even step forward as witnesses after the fact. But others rush in without hesitation to help fellow humans or animals in trouble. The news does tend to focus more on the worst than on the best. There are plenty of quiet heroes, too. Don't write off the species yet.
sorry, cog, but unfortunately, the 'good' ones have always been far outnumbered by the 'bad' and the 'apathetic'... and that will not change...
