I dislike writing and for me it is akin to torture most of the time. There are moments when I enjoy it. I feel more compelled to do it than anything else. A guess there is that old quote, 'I like having written.' That reflects my attitude to writing, I suppose. Can't do it every day but would like to.
Every day or thereabouts. Sometimes I just don't write and I walk by my notebook thinking I should, and then I keep walking.
I write most days, edit and rewrite on others. I've found routine to be a much bigger asset to a writer than inspiration. A famous writer said something similar that I've quoted him saying on this forum before. I can't remember the writer or the exact quote, but after reading this I decided to give routine more of a try. It's one of the best things I think a writer can do.
I try to write every day, even if it's just to get a few words down, but I've been having problems focusing with both reading and writing lately. It's very discouraging.
I'm an all or nothing kind of person. I while either fully submerse myself in writing and ignore everyone and everything for long periods of time, or I'll do sod all. I don't think it's healthy.
You do if you're a brand new member (spammer deterrent) but he should be okay to edit now. No biggie.
It happens in spurts. I can wake up and write the entire day and repeat this for weeks..... Then there are some days where i struggle to even write a sentence. I think ive written a grand total of 2k this entire week on my WIP. -sighs-
