    Dialogue tag THIS!

Discussion in 'Word games' started by Jonalexher, Jan 18, 2011.

    Hey guys!

I decided to start a "Caption Game."
This will help us improve our dialogue :D
Feel free to critique someone else's dialogue, just for the sake of helping him/her.
For new writers: Observe how the more seasoned ones create their dialogues! And then give it a try yourself!

    The rules are very simple:

    1. Post a picture containing 2+ objects or beings that are able to interact with one another. Please do not limit yourself, you can include robots, dragons, whatever you want.

    2. After posting the picture, create a back and forth dialogue, using the characters in the picture.

Directions on how to post a picture:
    1. Simply search for a picture on Google.
    2. Once you access the "full-size" picture, copy the link.
    3. When replying, click on the little post-card icon above.
    4. Paste the link, and you're done!

    I'll start it up!
I can't decide what the word count limit should be, so make it whatever you want!

    White Dog: Carl
    Black Dog: Josh

    Dogs' Secret

"Hey..." said Carl as he looked around, verifying nobody was close.
"Hey there..." said Josh. He looked at Carl. "Sometimes I wonder what would happen..."
"If?" said Carl with a puzzled face.
    "If we told them."
    "Told them what?"
"That we have the ability to speak, but we choose not to," said Josh as he looked away.
"This again?" said an annoyed Carl. "We've been through this how many times now?"
"Yeah, but... I don't know, I mean... wouldn't it be better?"
"Josh... they wouldn't know how to react... don't worry, you'll understand when you get older, it happens to all dā€”ā€”"
    "Woof! Woof!"
"Ready to go home, boys?" said Eric, the owner, with a smile.
    "Woof!"
