Premises you've thought of but haven't done anything with

Discussion in 'Plot Development' started by rktho, May 10, 2017.

Thread for premises you've scrapped, haven't done anything with, set aside, etc.

I had an idea once about a modern day French Revolution taking place in America where cops and Trump supporters and anyone who was associated with or defended cops or Trump supporters were hunted like aristocrats. It'd probably be a controversial novel...

I'd read that! I have an idea of a more fantasy type novel, with a cursed king, who marries a woman who he will hope break the curse and he is hunting for the witch that cursed him. Kind of vague I know, but I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with it, and never really got more than a few chapters in before I lost interest in it and had a new idea that I explored.
