    Wing

"Hi Wing," she said. "Raider obviously likes you. Where did you come from?"

Wing was about to tell them all about her nice meeting with the creature, then she remembered how it had flown away. It obviously didn't want them to know of it. Her hand fell to her side and she answered with a whisper, barely loud enough for the girl to hear her. "I got lost in the forest.....thought this was Snowpeak." Just a moment ago she had been alone with the creature and a small bird. How could it have gotten so crowded and scary all of a sudden.

    Doctor Gerome

The doctor turned to look at a small TV set int he corner of the room as he half-listened to the boy's conversation. Flipping through the channels, he looked idly for something interesting . . .

Pete smiled at Art, and let Ghost go when the baby dragon started whining, "But its cool here Art -and I've been here for the last six years. You have to understand that this is kinda like home to me now-

Gerome gasped and fell back, sending glass form the table to the floor with a loud shattering sound. His face was deathly pale as he stared at the TV and Pete's eyes widened as he saw a reporter manage to get an image of a body lying shredded in the street. Blood had pooled all around it, standing in stark contrast to the white snow as people screamed and howled in terror in the background.

"An attack in daylight! Panic has taken hold of the people here in SnowPeak where a strange monster has just brutally murdered-" Gerome turned it off quickly, swallowing. Pete was very pale.

That was when Ghost started screeching at the door, its eyes red with rage as it slammed at the steel frame and left inch-deep dents as it tried to get at whatever was behind it.

    Private Hanson

Hanson turned pale as Raider growled, the fur on his back beginning to stand on end. He heard screeching and banging coming from the base as well- apparently the new one had felt it too, whatever it was.

The black dragon stepped forwards over Wing, the club-like tip of his tail twitching as his red eyes scanned the trees. The growl grew into a low roar and the ground vibrated.

"Get off!" Hanson bellowed as he threw himself at Magda and knocked them both off of the beasts back as it surged forwards in a blur of ebony scales.

An answering roar shook the trees and something dark flashed in front of Wing, and Raider tackled it just as shining claws came within a hairs-breadth of her face. The sound of heavy bodies colliding and metal grinding against metal sounded along with the bellows of two massive beasts -though the other one could not be seen clearly enough it moved so fast. The only discernible things that could be noticed were shining claws that dripped blood from a recent kill.

    Fight Time!

Raider 's jaws opened wide and a blast of poison gas erupted from his throat, bathing the shadow in green. The creature screeched and backed away, batting at its face with its bloody claws. In return it used its heavier body weight to ram into the draogn's chest and knock him onto his back.

Raider roared and turned his head to snap at the creature's throat, but was pinned down by a massive paw as Hanson got up, whipping out a pistol similar to that of the general's.

"I don't know what the hell you are -but no one messes with us!" the man bellowed as he pulled the trigger and sent three bullets flying, only to watch them glance off the monster's impenetrable hide. His face turned pale as the creature grinned, revealing row after row of razor teeth.

    Your Turn!

Magda pulled out her weapons, as Private Hanson's bullets bounce off the creature's hide. Knowing that lightning does strike the same place twice, she took aim at the creatures eyes and fired four times.

The monster reared back and growled as a bullet penetrated its eye, but did not flee as the other dragon had. Rather, that only drew its attention to Madga. Lowering its head on along, serpentine neck, it moved its skull from side to side to make it impossible to shoot at its other eye and slowly approached her, snow crunching under its massive, blood-stained claws.

Raider roared, and an answering cry came from the baby dragon in the bunker. Yet another furious cry came from the forest and in the distance something came, flying low over the trees.

Still the monster didn't stop moving, as if the dragons couldn't budge it it stepped closer to Magda.

    Art Green

“Get a hold of your dragon and stay here, Pete. I’m going to go check it out.” He pulled out his shotgun, pumping a round in the chamber in one smooth action.

Outside he could hear a great commotion, of roaring, crashing and gun fire. Suddenly two giants appeared before him their scales glimmering in the sun.

    “Holy crap…”

The dragons wrestled against each other in a heap of claws and fangs, until raider was pinned. Then a loud bang of gunfire rang out, and he could see Magda in there mists, firing at the dark one.

The dark dragon enraged by this new assault charged straight towards her.

Art ran forward his shot gun aimed at the beast’s underbelly. He unloaded round after round, the gun jarred against his arm as the slugs flew towards their target. He roared as he continued, determined to pierce the tin cans shell.

The beast roared in pain as a few of the bullets pierced its belly, the others lancing off its flanks and going wide. Turning in fury, its yellow eyes flashing, its jaws opened in a massive roar that shook the ground and it charged Art, the ground rumbling beneath its talons. Raider bellowed and rolled over, snatching as the beast passed, but wasn't able to stop it.

"Get down!" Hanson yelled, his face pale with horror as the beast closed in on the young man.

Suddenly something grabbed Art by the shirt and flung him high into the air, and the thud of heavy bodies colliding rang out as the man narrowly avoided being crushed but landed instead in a high drift of snow, safe. A higher-pitched roar and snarling erupted as Project Zero brawled with the monster, having appeared as if from nowhere. Her wings were clasped tightly to her body, and her barbed tail whipped about from side to side as the two dragons circled each other, muzzles curled to reveal jagged fangs. There was an odd rattling noise, and then fire spewed from her jaws in a blat of white heat to scorch along the side of the black draogn, who screamed in agony and reared to claw at Project Zero's face.

"She couldn't breathe fire before!" Hanson gaped, his eyes wide, "She didn't have wings either! How-

Project Zero flung herself at the monster, bellowing in rage and red eyes flashing as her claws lengthened and her wings snapped open wide, but there was something beneath them. Newer, yet undeveloped wings similar to the young draogn Ghost's.

"She can . . . oh my god . . ." Hanson muttered, the glanced at Magda, "See -this is why we need her. She can evolve to survive!"

    Wing

Wing was terrified by the great creature that barely missed her face. She felt helpless against this quick and strong enemy. She could only stand by as the creature got Raider pinned. Then a tingle went through her. She wondered at this weird feeling, when the nice creature from before appeared. She could hear heavy bodies collide and knew they wrestled. "No! Swiftfang!" She didn't know where the name came from but it fitted the creature, or at least her image of the creature. Without a second though she ran forward. She'd always been surprisingly fast. A great jump brought her onto the scary creatures head. She held on for dear life as she fetched one of her knuckle-bracers. She punched it at the only weak point she could find, the eye. Then she retreated over to Swiftfang. She whispered an excuse as she landed on the ground behind her. Her other knuckle-bracer was out. She knew her giant friend had more chance against their foe, all Wing could do was distract and hurt when someone else took the burnt. She would be ready if it showed an opening.

Project Zero braced her hindlegs into the snow as she was shoved back by the monster as it tried to get at Wing, its other eye bleeding. Snapping its jaws dangeorusly close to the draogn's underbelly, Project Zero raked her forclaws down the other beast's muzzle, and glowing green spattered the snow. Bellowing in rage, the beast backed off only to have Raider roar and tackle him, the two beasts bowling head-over tail. The monster jumped away and made as if to lunge at Zero-

    CRACK!

Raider's clubbed tail hung suspended in the air for a moment as the dragon watched the dark body sail over the trees to crash down in the forest with a resounding thump. His muzzle was curled in a snarl and the look in his eyes promised retribution should the thing come again. A pained roar showed that it wasn't dead, but the creature obviously was fleeing for now.

    Fight over!

"Jesus . . . Doc wasn't kidding that you could crush a tank with that thing . . ." Hanson mumbled as he watched Raider, putting his gun back in its holster to go and crouch next to the pool of glowing green fluid. His brows met in confusion, and he glanced at Madga:

"That can't be right -only our dragons can be made using this. Someone must have gotten the formula!" Hanson quieted as Project Zero suddenly made a reedy keening noise, and Raider answered with a lower tone that made the gorund vibrate. The smaller female dragon padded over to the male and sniffed at the wound on its neck and chest, making Raider growl and snap his jaws at her -though not meanly, more as if to fend off her attention.

Project Zero turned her head to peer at Wing with soft, red eyes and her wings rustled as she opened them, taking off in a gust of wind to dissapear into the clouds again.

Hanson swallowed and looked at everyone, "Look, I don't know how, but someone is copying our creatures. Already someone's died and other's are missing. We need to solve this fast, or we could have another 'War on Terror' on our hands."

    Wing

Wing stood facing the direction Swiftfang had flown off too, she could still hear her wing beats as they slowly got weaker when Swiftfang increased the distance. When the sound was too weak even for her ears, she spoke up. "Your...creatures?" She didn't bother turning to look at them. Her habit of facing the person talking to her was mostly for their own comfort. It was easier to overlook her blindness if she appeared to be looking at them. Her lost sight was the last thing on her mind right now. "What do you mean by...dragons...and...making them?" These people confused her. "You do not own..animals or birds...even though they are loyal to you."She really hated talking to humans. She silently slid her knuckle bracers off and put them back in her pocket, while waiting for an answer.

"Well . . . I'm not the one who makes them. But from what i know Doc takes this formula and some kind of egg -and we get dragons." the private shrugged, "I really don't know much else from that."
