Okay thanks. I understand the concept. However, earlier in my story, the villains computer was hacked by the main character when the main character was trying to find out more about him. So would the villain keep his leverage videos in cyberspace, even though his computer has already been hacked before? Or would his computer being hacked cause him to want to delete all the cyberspace files, so they cannot be found by the hacker, and thus have other physical copies hidden somewhere?

He's a freaking crime boss with others working under him. Presumably he could buy a new cheap laptop every hour and still be ballin.

Okay thanks. What about what tonguetied said about how hiding it in cyberspace is pointless though, cause of all the webcrawlers out there?

There are plenty of ways to hide from crawlers. In fact, it was 'public networks' that was mentioned. Public networks make up maybe 5% of the internet, but would be used by someone like this. If this person learned more, they would be committing cybercrime.

Okay thanks. So if the MC does not know what computer the villain is accessing his videos from, how would the MC find him and follow him to the videos, in cyberspace, then?
