Nah, you get "contributing" for that.

Whilst I don't think I've ever been T boned by a gestalt swerve ( I hear you have to pay extra at madame jo jo's for kinky things like that) I feel your pain - i used to mod on a boat forum which was boarded by pirates, foundered on hostile shoals and eventually sank without trace ...

Anyway nuff said - but if you do ever need people to kindle the pyre of creative excellence, you'll find me ready with my bottle full of premix and cloth wick.

Just out of random curiosity, who is (or was) "the unlamented Mr Sixpak?"

Joe Sixpak - recently got banned for being a git (check out the very many threads in the publishing board) - he's late as in banned, not as in dead

Another question: how do you get that cool founder banner? :)

Founder banner? Do you mean the colored ribbons in the member badge over to the left?
If yes, then the yellow Founder banner belongs to only person, Daniel, founder of this forum. :supercool:

How you get to write a little tagline below your avatar? Like @Wreybies "ops pop?"

That is simple. Click on your personal profile (it just says your screen name at the top of the page on the right side).
From there you will see your Status, Profile Pic, and a single bar beneath that. In that Bar beneath your profile
pic (Or avatar pic if you prefer), you can write a short bit in there of whatever you like.

I hope this has been helpful, as I have been asked this by someone else via PM. :)

I think only certain user groups can change their label/title. I also think that it is supposed to be limited to supporters (as it's written in the list of Supporter features).

I do it all the time, and I am not a supporter. So either I have been lucky for almost 2 years, or you are mistaken.

Have you ever been a supporter?

Or it might just be a feature that is also available to e.g. contributing members.

Nope, been able too since my humble start back in August of 2015 when I first figured it out.
I think it should be available to all as it is a lovely feature.

Well, I offered the people who ran this site some money in return for the title "The exalted and loved PinkyMcFiddle" but the response was "bugger off you egomaniac". I must give them plaudits for that. Admittedly Minstrel asked how much ;) Joke, before you sue.

I guess Troll is just special

Ironically for pinky if you bought supporter status you'd be able to have that title, or anything else you wanted

Not sure if we have info about it anywhere, but I think it is a badge you get if you donate more than $100 over the course of a year.

I like the pseudo hierarchy we have here. It not so clearly displays that people have achieved something, but what that something is probably isn't all that important.

Since I'm one post from becoming an active member, this thread seems to be the good place to use that post.
Then I'll just have to spam the place, like, 150 times to become a senior. Because titles, and stuff.

    ETA
Whoops... I might've skipped a few steps along the way. Apparently I'm senior without all the spamming.

Hi ya. Just an FYI, I switched to a senior member when I met the 50 likes requirement though I obviously don't meet the other requirements yet. Best wishes :)

If it still exists in the FAQ, important to note that I no longer offer the French Maid Costume service. I'm still having trouble shedding holiday weight from last Christmas and that costume just doesn't fit right now. :-D

Yes, pseudo-hierarchies are fine. Actual hierarchies go all Lord of the Flies in no time flat. :bigconfused:

I heard you were outsourcing that to @KaTrian for the straight guys anyway ;)
