    Question!

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by Jayyy1014, Apr 10, 2011.

As I suppose this section is where you post your questions.

I was wondering, What is the difference between a junior member and a senior member, and what the green boxes beside your name in your profile or when you post something meant.

Senior members have been spamming the forum for longer, that's all :p It's decided by post count.

Also a secret initiation ceremony. It isn't too painful - most people pass it. :D

Assuming by the green boxes you mean the reputation things - when you click the little scales under someone's name you can add to their reputation, and as it builds up it gives the community an indication of the poster's usefulness/worth/skill at making jam tarts. :D

Along these lines, what does it mean when someone's name is green or blue whatever (like when they visit my profile) and how come some people don't have "Senior Member" written under their name, but some pithy saying?

Green names are supporters of the site, and they can change their "senior member" thing to say other stuff instead. Blue names are mods.

How many posts does it take to transition between junior member - member - senior member?

Just one, but it has to be a really good one. One that makes people cry of joy and scream in angst. One that changes the reader's understanding of life, the universe and everything else. One to attract them all... and to tie them in the darknesses. No, wait, that was a ring. ... What were we talking about, again?

Thanks for the explanation. I was thinking I'd lied about my age somewhere!! It's quite sweet being a junior, rather ike being asked for ID to prove my age in a shop, which incidentially hasn't happened for a good seven or eight years..... :s

    Thanks!
