    Questions about windows

    Hi guys,

    The bedrooms in my grandmother's house used to have really long thin windows that were near the ceiling. (This was upstairs, not down in the basement). Does anyone know what those are called?

    If they were above the doors then they were transom windows. Other than that, I have no clue.
