I've just checked out the new members forum. Most threads have only 2/3 welcoming post. Come on guys we surely can do better than that:(

I read all the new member threads, I just don't post unless I have something more than "hey, welcome to the WF" to say. :/ Usually I watch for newer members in other areas of the forum to see how they're liking the forums.

i don't see that copying/pasting a cloned 'welcome' for each one [which is what most who reply to all of them do] is worth the time for the poster, or gives the new members any kind of personal touch...

i do check them all out and respond to all whose posts have a question i can answer, or relate to anything i can offer in the way of advice/help or meaningful dialog...

Perhaps that section could benefit from a fruit basket welcome of sorts.
