I'm a fan of Dr. Sandra Lee's procedures. Still medicine, different area.

    I'm watching Roger & Hammerstein's 1965's Cinderella

1997 Cinderella featuring Brandy has ruined me to nearly any other iteration: Cinderella is a gorgeous black young lady and the prince is a sexy Asian gentleman, and I cannot be convinced otherwise

    @Iain Aschendale

So because Jack the Ripper was by all known accounts either a butcher or a doctor, that
gives him a free pass to murder prostitutes?

Good to know that by some account that having money and status means more than
intent, be it for the better or the worse.

The best defense does not mean anything if the evidence points directly at the perpetrator.

Good to know that you can sweep bad deeds under the rug and deny them if you have the
power to influence the common man, therefore washing ones hands of any wrong doing
due to the amount of wealth one has. Rich is good, and poor is evil...?

Let's break this down. I know "porque" is how they spell "Spam" in the fancy restaurants, and according to Yolandi Visser, "no means yes". "Los" is German for "wrong", as in "Was ist los?", and DOS is an antiquated operating system.

    Nope, still don't got it.

We seem to have hit a sore spot. I'm not giving examples of the way the world should be, I'm describing the way it is. If I (and I'm far from rich) grabbed some random woman, or Miss America for that matter, by the p*ssy, I'd simply be arrested and placed on the sex offender registry. If a billionaire does it, he settles out of court for a paltry (to him) sum of money decades later, if he's indeed punished at all.

Not a sore spot by any means, @Iain Aschendale. We can conclude
that on some level the laws in place are not as just as they claim to
be, meaning that the priorities of it are fundamentally skewed to
favor one class over the the others. It then states that having more
stake in the economy takes priority over the one thing that should
be able to put us all upon equal footing. Nothing should be skewed
in favor without evidence to support the accused, and this is why
we allow wealth to walk free and come down severe on the common
man for the same crime. Guilt by proof should carry the same weight
regardless of status, and to be a mere inconvenience to the the one who
can buy freedom degrades the whole point of imposing a consequence
    to begin with.

Unfortunately, favoring one class over another is why they invented laws in the first place.

Well then my theory of its background made a little too much sense.
Truly the pinnacle of being the result of something else of higher
intelligence playing a cosmic joke. Either that or nature was bored. :p

As the top of the food chain, we make no sense at all.

Apparently it's impossible for me to write anything without it sounding like porn.

"I moved my gaze to the anglers. Three humans and two Devonians scrabbled, pulled, or made thrusting motions..."

The context is that the MC is watching these people trying to capture a large fish but out of context? Eh, I'll let your mind fill in the rest.:supercheeky:

Oh goody, my mind has gone perverted. I just saw an ad by Amazon on this site advertising Dominos by Seth God and my mind changed his name to "Sex God". Oh my good lord. :superwhew:

Why do people say "Desert Island"? I get that it's supposed to imply that the island is deserted, but in modern english at least, the word 'desert' specifically refers to an actual desert. I still have never seen a "desert" island...they're normally tropical in nature...or frozen, but never deserts.

I vaguely remember learning that 'desert' could refer to any large biome, (Ice, sand, rainforest,) though I could be wrong on details.

I might have just made it up who knows.

Actually I think it might have something to do with an island having the same biome throughout.

Checked out "Desert Biomes", and it seem to only discuss deserts themselves, as in mojave, etc.

Know something I find kind of weird? In my years of surfing the internet, I've observed that if I announced that I was gonna watch American Football/Baseball while eating greasy food and drinking beer, it's the non-Americans that raise a stink about how I'm just another typical American. Yet...the actual Americans would not give even the slightest bit of a fuck about it. :D :p

I mean, really! Why get so upset over how someone wants to celebrate their nation's festivals or sports? It'd be like me getting all upset at a German who wants to do the most Germanic thing possible. Human beings are weird as fuck. o___O
