I can think of one, but not sure on her name at the present.
    They do exist though. :)

If it makes you feel any better, i can only name Copperfield and Houdini. Period. And I used to host parties for magicians all the time when I worked in Casinos. Can't remember any of them, though.

There's a magician and a Dickens character. And I can't remember which is which. One is a David... that's all I got.

David Blaine maybe? And who's the guy who tries to look all edgy and spooky? Kristov? Crisco? <googles> Criss Angel! Could not actually name him though.

I recognize Houdini's name. Penn and Teller is the only other act that comes to mind for magic in general, much less female magicians.

I’m starting to panic. I’m due to return to work on Tuesday and I still haven’t had a call from them to say I need to stay at home because of my diabetes. I may have to actually work for my pay!!! My health condition was good enough to get me 10 weeks during the first longdown, so why not this time when the COVID situation is worse than ever?? If I catch it and die I’ll definitely be sueing!

Novels are just about the only thing that I am prone to look only for praises, and that mesmerize me. Anything else (in the world) I fiercely criticize first and only after see if there is anything I like about it. I don't know why I criticize so much, or at least in my mind I do perceive like I criticize to excess. In principle, I criticize because it is good to see things for what they are, but with time I began to imbalance the negatives (over the positives). Criticizing is something I want to stop doing to focus on the more positive aspects that finding praises in things and people, rather than in finding faults, brings with it. For a long time I didn't think it mattered to be so critical, like it was a way to make myself think about things, especially I didn't think people cared, but they do. I want to change what I came to realize brings negative energy with it when not carefully controlled.

I can confirm that placing M&Ms in a bowl of hot water does indeed securely melt the chocolate inside. The only thing that happens to the shell is that the colour is removed, but hey, less e-numbers!

Unfortunately they had no peanut ones in stock so I had to get a pack of these new fangled varieties (Crunchy Caramel). Where the ‘crunch’ comes from I don’t know, because the little caramel core was hard as stone, even after a 30 second soak in hot water.

    Better slow down their chief.
I understand M&M science is important, but at the
rate you're going, you're going to get a Masters in

Krispy Kreme - the doughnut that tries too hard.

I just bought a four-pack of Morrisons own-brand yumyums for a quid and they blow KK out of the water. I know some will argue yumyums aren’t a doughnut but they are.

I think Krispy Kreme is better than Dunkin' at least. Their stuff always seems fresher.

Why is the best of a selection always the one that gets skimped on? I like Liquorice Allsorts, particularly the pink and blue jelly ones, and how many of these were in the whole of the pack I just bought? Two! Yes, two! In the whole pack!

I love those too - you can buy whole packets of them separately... they are called jelly buttons... but i've never seen them in a mainstream supermarket only in farm shops and that kind of place

Morrisons is usually pretty good for things like this. I must remember to check next time I’m in.

"Where do gummy buttons come from?"
"Well you see little Billy... When a 5lb
gummy bear comes out of the mould there
is a little extra at the belly. Kinda like am
umbilicus, which they cut off. Then the little
extra bit is repackaged as gummy buttons.?
"So gummy buttons are really giant gummy
    bear belly buttons."
"Yes, I guess they are." :p
