He's doing acquisitions for Baen Books and decided to spell out exactly what he's looking for, both in content and in the submission packet. Well, now there's a sad follow-up to report. Today's newsletter reported that Dave passed away from a stroke at the age of 64 . I've never read any of his books, but I got some good tips from his newsletter over the past two years, and he was known for mentoring young writers. He'll be missed, I'm sure.
