    Research Subforum

Discussion in 'Support & Feedback' started by Scattercat, Aug 30, 2008.

Why is it hidden inside the Plot forum? I understand the relationship, but it seems to me that one of the best uses of a writer's forum, after reviews/workshopping, is being able to pick the brains of a variety of people with a variety of specialized knowledge, and talking shop with people working in the same genre who may have run across similar questions and researched answers on their own.

I think the Research forum should be right out there with Characterization and Grammar. Tucked where it is, it's hard to find; I didn't even notice it until after two days! It makes it difficult for new people to find, and difficult to easily check for updates/new threads.

I agree. It took a while before I finally saw it.

Hmmm. I do think that the research forum is underused, and I wonder if that could partially be due to its status as a subforum of Plot Creation. It might be worth trialing it as its own forum.

I agree. I've always wondered why the Research subform is so underused.
