    16th century French Culture

Discussion in 'Research' started by kguertin90, Jul 7, 2008.

Im currently working on something that stages paris as the center of activity during the thirty year's war. Does anyone know any sites/books that would give me an idea of every day life in paris during the early 1600's up until about 1648?

First, a point... the 1600s are the 17th century, just like the 1900s were the 20th century. Always good to have the details right!

I would suggest reading some 17th century French literature. Try this Wikipedia page for ideas:

Sometimes people can face problem to find entire history,in that case just need to modify Google search term as well as need advance search. I have been living France since long time as well as I have been working on French language according one of my project. If you need any specific information PM me.
