    Reverse twilight?

Discussion in 'Book Discussion' started by qp83, Jun 3, 2014.

I hope this is the right forum for this stuff. I'm looking for some new books to read, and I generally prefer young-adult stuff with supernatural, fantasy, or sci-fi.

And I'm wondering if anyone knows of anything reverse twilight'y, where the Bella is a guy and the vampire is a girl? Actually, I'd be fine with any story, where the guy is the normal boring person, and the girl is the dangerous supernatural being.

    Thanks! :D

There is the "Immortals After Dark" series by Kresley Cole.
There is also the "Dark-Hunter" series by Sherrilyn Kenyon.

They are a bit saucier than Twilight, but very much worth the read.

Oh, and often both character are supernatural.

My rule is: if you can't find it and you want to read about it, that's what the book you write should be about. If you're fantasizing about finding a book that would fit your niche, you've probably got a lot of material and passion in you and it just needs to find a home.

This is how I decided I want to write a book.
    Couldn't find what I needed.

Let the Right One In. I've only seen the movie, not read the novel, but it seems to fit the description.

I need to get better at writing before I even dare to consider writing a book. Might write a short story though... hmm...

Thanks for your suggestions, I'll check them out!
