You just said that you wanted to be opposition...? Regarding the letters, just add one more. Though Ivan seems to know.

Do I have to be a citizen of the States to vote and / or run against and / or be a minister? Or does being a forum member over here count as a very good qualification?

you have to be British born to run for PM, and i assume the same applies with America and Presidant. that's why i am running PM and not presidant. that, and to give Adamant a bit of a change :p

I don't think those rules apply to us- not with a British man and an Australian girl on our cabinet.

yeaa, but can they run for Presidant? i had been told that only American borns can be Presidant, thats why Arnold Swachaneger (however you spell it) can never be President, only mayor or something

Yes, yes... you must be a 35 year old WASP (minor exceptions) who has lived in the United States for at least 14 years prior to when you want to run. I know, I got a 97 on my Constitution test way back in 8th grade. Those are all just semantics. I'm here to inspire change. Besides... you're my Attorney General.

I'm an American, cannot vote for PM. But I'd vote for you if I could. You aren't obsessed wit world domination (glancing quickly at Banzai).

You don't have to be WASP to run for President. But you must be 35 years old or more, resided in the US for the last 14 years, and be a natural-born citizen of the USA. And you cannot have served more than 4 years previously as President/

Right Cog... you don't HAVE to be a WASP to vote, but the odds tend to favor them, no?

The times they are a-changing, adamant. We shall see how the Presidential run goes over the next 15+ months.

But the statutory requirements are as I stated. Beyond that it's all marketing.
