I have not written once since GTA V came out on the 17th.

    That is all...

I avoid anything to do with it and all games in general just so I can continue to be normal human being who does his duty on time. Not just games, I can get addicted pretty fast to anything that is potentially addictive. So, I avoid them and try to channelize the addictive tendency to better things like playing word games. This way even when I am not writing I am at least doing something to improve my writing.

Write first. Reward yourself after with some playtime.

use cheats to progress faster through gameplay, crack resource files to get direct access to all sounds, text, textures, 3d objects etc... You'll be hookex off in a day ot two :D

Thank god, I'm dying of interest in games now. Luckily they don't bring up the classic games no more, only rarely since all I play are games with a terrific story packed with emotions.
But I guess I'm gonna grow addictive to the online version of GTAV and play with my friends so it's more like this; Write during the day, play online in the evening with friends who finished a day's work at college or work.

I game. And I write. And I don't see how running around in a game is more interesting than creating your own story, although that's probably just me. Writing isn't for everyone, but neither is a game addiction... I suppose.
    Have fun playing GTA V.

I'm no longer in the phase of mindless gaming. Now it's hours of forum discussions I waste too much time on. :p

Yeah, I noticed years ago I go on forums of a computer game more than playing the game itself.
Forums became more addicting than the game.

According to @Lemex, this game revolutionized humanity (or something like that; I forget his exact words). From what I've read and seen so far, it sounds like a really addicting game. Sadly, I probably won't get a chance to play it until I go back home in December. It's probably for the best, though.

On reflection I might have been a bit rash in suggesting GTAV is the greatest work of art since the Renaissance, but it's still a darn good game. :p

Yes, it is. Not the best game I've ever played, but a big step up from IV. The best time I switched characters was when I went to Trevor - he was blind drunk on the train-tracks with a huge train chugging towards him! That was one of the best parts of the game for me. There are more, but I won't bore you with them.

I find the best things about games are the random events and happenings.

Why is this thread still in general writing section, and why hasn't Cogito complained about it?:confused::confused:

Another update, I finally got bored of it. It's unusual for my age where people love these games but I don't find it addicting anymore which is good. The only game I find addicting are story-ish games that focus on the story rather than how fun the game is. Guess I'll put the new "Beyond two souls" on my Christmas list along with replacement parts for my PC.

Looks like I'm just gonna go on GTAV to talk with friends now, might replay the Walking dead when talking with friends.
