    Invent an Inspirational Quote

Discussion in 'Word games' started by Bjørnar Munkerud, May 27, 2019.

Thought it might be fun to suggest people make up ostensibly wise remarks on the spot, and see what people come up with. If there is deliberate or accidental wisdom contained within, that's great. But anything goes as long as it at least sounds like someone trying to sound profound.

Here are some examples I've just thought of:

"When something turns to dust, it loses all meaning. When everything has turned to dust, dust is everything."

"Life binds us all together. If we break the bond of life, we lose our hope, and our humanity."

"He who sees farther, knows sooner."

"Love and hatred are both forged by fire and water and are two sides of the same coin, and yet they are also opposites."

"When a friend disturbs your sleep, you object. When an enemy disturbs your sleep, you'd chase them to the ends of the Earth."

"Even honey will spoil in time."

You cannot rally for peace. You can only spread peace from your heart.

In nature, even a songbird is not born with the ability to sing, it comes with time and practice.

    Entropic Dystopia

Societal chaos and order is a lesser reflection of the primordial chaos from which gods are born.

    The Spiral

The one arm approaching the innermost depths of the psyche complimented by the forever reaching infinity. The dream that makes it all worthwhile to the nightmare wishing it over. All of these and so much more.

Creation is absurd but simple; it's evolution and entropy that exponentially creates complexity.

    The Great Paradox

There are a couple things that can be said of the great paradox: its existence preceded dimension and its context was lawless.

    Perfect is Not Necessarily Pretty

A system may be honed to perfection even though individual perspectives may observe an abrasive and unnerving reality of such a system.

    Magical Realism : Core Reality

There is an infinitely substantial and dominant reality that transcends this four-dimensional existential matrix.
It is out of reach however, because the rules here do not apply there, for the most part, but we find ways...

We find ways to entertain concepts that are real, but out of this experience, these alternate realities.
