Sorry. Online, I only trade in the currency of LIKEs. So I can give you 10000 likes but that would require you to post 10000 messages. This transaction could take a while. My interest is fleeting...
I'm resurrecting this thread because what the world needs now is love sweet love I don't see @Kingtype much outside of the roleplay forum but he always seems really positive and enthusiastic.
I love that Tenderiser has revived this thread. Sometimes we need to know that there are people out there who (1) are actually nice, kind-hearted, compassionate people and (2) they give a damn about us. Thank you. <hugs Tenderiser>
So I'm guessing this isn't the time for a backhanded compliment, like saying @Tenderiser doesn't smell nearly as bad as she used to?
Thank you, Link. You're wonderful too. I've missed you. Tenderiser and Bayview make me laugh every day. (More at them than with them usually, but that's okay, right?)
When I'm not here dealing with members who want to dance right up against the line of the rules, or sashay clean across that line, I am in the real world where I am a legal translator and interpreter, and again, there I am constantly faced with people and situations that form a rather negative skew of my world view. @Tenderiser, @big soft moose, @mashers, @Catrin Lewis, and @IHaveNoName have helped me to shrug off some of the mantle of cynicism that tends to encrust itself around me because of that. Their selfless cooperation and ready willingness to aid me in tedious tasks that are nonetheless needful of doing has been a tonic!
Link is okay when he's sober ...... (joking ... although it does remind me of a classic reference i saw once which said "on the rare occasions smith was sober at work, he performed his role adequately)
Thanks @Wreybies , that's incredibly kind! I'll reciprocate by saying that @Wreybies can turn a response to the most mundane of topics into a beautiful piece of poetry, @Tenderiser has an enviable sardonic wit, and @Trish is about to become my new hobnob soul mate
I know a lot of people might not feel the same, but I respect @Dr. Mambo for keeping up the good fight in the Donald Trump thread. There were times when four, five, or even six other members were all arguing against him, but he held his ground and stayed about as non-confrontational as possible while still arguing. Most people in his position would have lost it and got themselves banned by now. So here's to you avid debater, I learned a lot from reading the goings on in that thread.
True. But once you make the french toast burgers, we'll have a better idea. That's what it says! Fingers crossed!
@mashers - I love reading his/her posts, even if I don't know much about him/her. @Mumble Bee - Your username makes me chuckle. @Trish - You are made of awesome.
Only if I can copy/paste @mashers description from the other thread if I like them (which I have to like them - did you read that?). I have no hope of competing in the word porn genre with him.
