Ok, first of all, no one move. I do have an AK-47 and a series of heat-seeking bullets, so if everyone obeys, everyone will live. I am the bestest terrorist since Osama, MAH DUDEZ!!! lol nah me just play round..... Anyway, well lets just get a few things out in the open. 1. I am Silly (What I called Animated....) 2. I am a lover of all arts (Visual, Photography, Music, Dance, etc.) 3. I LOVE cartoons 4. I am kind of a mess when it comes to writing. When I was younger, people swore I would oneday be an author. I always had ideas, and could express them pretty well. But along the years, my mind has gotten cluttered, and my writing had suffered harshly. What really happens is that, I get ideas sometimes, but when it comes to putting them into Stories, I FREEZE UP! IDK, I get nervous and automatically have trouble expressing my thoughts, down into Story-form. I was slightly good at that in my younger years, but now, its my biggest issue. Any vice fo' da homay!??!!????? 5. I am an Evangelical Christian 6. I adore Nature 7. I recently became heavily into Politics. My political views are usually very Liberal. I would consider myself a firm supporter of the Democratic Party. May not be that old or experienced, but I study as much as I can. I am also big into U.S. History and other world cultures... 8. My grammar is just....meh.....please don't harp on me too bad..... So IDK if I gave you guys TMI, but I had nothing better to do, lol..... So sup!?
Hello Ice Scarred, Welcome to the Writing Forums. It sounds like you have a broad range of interests to draw upon for writing inspiration. Posting your own work should not be the very first thing you do here. It is really worthwhile to see what other people have done to improve their writing, and see if some of it applies to your writing as well. That is part of why we require members to review other members' work before posting their own for review. On the other hand, there are no restrictions, other than content and copyright rules, on showcasing your work in your member blog. If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Newcomers often gravitate to the Lounge, the Word Games, or the Review Room, but there is much more to be discovered if you poke in the corners. Remember to check out our FAQ as well, and be sure to read through the forum rules, too, to avoid any misunderstandings or hurt feelings. Respect for one another is our principal mandate. As for the Review Room, new joiners often wonder why we do things a bit differently on this site than on other writing sites. We emphasize reviewing as a critical writing skill. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. The Review Room forums on this site, therefore, are true workshops, not just a bulletin board for displaying your work (and on that note, please only post each item for review in one Review Room forum). Thanks peeps. Yeah, I will and have looked at some of peoples works on here. I will continue. I just struggle, when it actually comes to writing the story. Maybe, someone can help. I see a lot of great writing here, btw. Full of talent. Thanks for welcoming meh.
