Stephen Colbert. The most brilliant comedian I have ever scene. comdey is all about the delivry and Colbert, in my opinion, is the best.
I heard somewhere that Steven Colbert has considered running for president in the future. He is a very sharp man.
Colbert will not be running. South Carolina turned him down from participating in the primaries (Whether this was staged or a joke is unknown to me). They actually had a five minute joke about the things America would never see him do because of it. Colbert announced no one would ever see his "Impeachment Speech" or his "Excuse for Invading Iran." Its for the best. I first of all don't think he was ever seriously going to run it was jsut a joke, and second a comedian running would make a mockery of the system. It was a good joke though. Some people actually thought Colber twas serious and that's wher ethe rumors come from. Only goes to my point that Colbert is an excellent actor.
So funny because before I even opened this thread I said to myself...Dane Cook! and wham the very first name was his. Love watching his videos on youtube, best way to pass your time.
Favourite stand up: Jim Gaffigan Favourite music ensemble: Flight of the Conchords Favourite motion picture comedian: Jim Carrey
Col Elliot was good. Ros Noble is funny. And Lano and Woodly! GOTTA LOVE THEM! I will linki them! A few others but I can't think of them!
I think my favourite comedian is Rich Little. Saw him in person one night and he was really great. But then he is always good.
Hale and Pace. They are just too funny to not laugh. Also Peter Kay is hilarious And then Jack Dee Oh and Lee Evans Jasper Carrot. bah too many to name just one.
Oh... This is hard... Dane Cook Stephen Lynch Brian Regan Mitch Hedberg Jeff Dunham Jim Gaffigan Bill Engvall Jeff Foxworthy There are so many more, but I can't name them all. I listen to a lot of comedians.
There have been so many great comedians over the years. Modern comedians like Chris Rock and Robin Williams dance on the raw side of humor, and then there are the subtler ones like Rita Rudner and Rondell Sheridan (who alsways reminds me of Magilla Gorilla - its the shape of his face and the grin). But there are also the older comedians who are no longer with us - Jimmy Durante, Charlei Chaplin, Jackie Gleason, Jack Benny, Henny Yougman, Ernie Kovacks - the list goes on and on. But if I had to pick just one, it would have to be that gentle soul from vaudeville, Red Skelton. He created the most uproarious characters, and delivered his monologues with a gentle humor that none could match. He always closed every show with "Good night, and may God bless."
My Favourite Comedian?? ermm, at the moment it is Jimmy Carr or Lee Evans. both funny blokes. For the females, that has to be Catherine Tate. I love that woman.
I like Noel Fielding. He's really funny when doing stand up on his own but is even funnier when he's in The Mighty Boosh. I think you have to have a certain sense of humour to find him funny though.
I really like David Mitchell... There's just something about him which makes me break down in hysterics. Clicky! And again. More!
