Hello Screenwriters! I'm a software engineer and was thinking about a small project. The idea is to protect a screenplay by putting it on public blockchain, where it would be with under no central authority, public, immutable, forever and with timestamp. No-one, including project creators, will be able to temper, modify or delete the record. The cost would be cost of transaction on the blockchain which is about few dollars. It should be cheaper, faster and forever comparing to WGA and provide same legal evidence of creation. Would anyone be interested in this?
