    Short Story Big adventure

Discussion in 'Genre Discussions' started by deadrats, Mar 9, 2018.

What do you guys think of big adventures in short stories? A lot can happen in 20-30 pages. Or almost nothing can happen. I've done both at times pretty much. Just wondering what sort of story you guys like in your short stories.

Works for me. Condensing large events into smaller word counts has a nice narrowing effect, too. Less of a distraction for the smaller, foreground conflicts between characters.

    I concur with @Homer Potvin .
