    I don't mean genre...
different styles that the author use to make dialogue interesting

    some writers use proverbs...
some use rhyming in the dialogues...to make dialogue interesting...
    what else can be done?

Yes, there are many different styles of writing. I would even say that each writer has a unique style. The best way to see "what else can be done" is to read as many writers and genres as possible.

And some good authors master several styles.

Often it's one style per genre or alias.

Writing here is good way to develop your style. You can write, then rewrite if needed. You can pay attention to your style, your voice, your readers reactions...

    Dialog?

It'a about revealing characters (and a little bit situations) and wants, needs and action. Do that in an interesting way.

But style is not only about dialog. It's about everything. It's about characters, story structure, narration, voice, plot, character arches,

I'm having trouble picturing a writer using rhyme in dialogue and inserting proverbs there. Can you please provide an example of each.
