Just added another 6. My plan is to focus more on scenery -- unfortunately, I'm not on my account to find them quicker. Though if anyone is interested in that approach, I can find them.

Do they all look like Magic cards, or am I just seeing things? =P

And yeah, focusing more on scenery would be good.

I didn't even see the Y incision - it's barely visible on my screen. Doesn't matter, though, even without that, I didn't come up with anuything I really wanted to write. Maybe the next competition.

Good luck to all who entered, even though only one will prevail.

Well, out of those, the ones I think would be best suited for the next theme, would be 'Eden is Not Enough', 'Water Dungeon Entrance' and 'The Room'.

I was slightly disappointed by 'Teddy Bear's Rescue'. So much inspiration from that name, so much, but the big eel thing emerging from a lake with a teddy bear wasn't quite what I had in mind... I mean, what's wrong with a militant Teddy Bear? Or just an ordinary sentient Teddy Bear rescuing someone?

I know, amazingly original wasn't it. Especially the second time it was used (I didn't notice it used the first time, honest).

I am actually disappointed by my story, as when I saw the title 'Angelus Mortis', I had the best bleedin' idea ever... Ah well, good luck everyone, even though hopefully I will win.:p

    I'm happy with my story.
Although I'm really glad I asked my parents for ideas. The first two ideas weren't nearly as good as the one my Dad came up with.
    May the best person win.

If the deadline was 12 (midnight) Central Standard Time on July 28, and you just posted at about 5... isn't there a slight problem with that?

It didn't specify midnight, actually. It's a little confusing. It could be construed to mean noon.

My 'short' story turned out to be long though.

Good luck to all who entered!

I agree, I think the room possibly has the most potential for inspiration and originality. It has my vote.

There isn't. After all, I am Grand Emperor of the Earth. And democracy is overrated.

While you may be the lowly "Grand Emperor of the Earth", I am the
    Supreme Tzar of the Universe.
I know the secrets of existence, though I felt it was better to not give them away. Even that may have been too much information.

I kinda like -Tide Devourer- Reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus and that game rawked.
youthful noaise I could work with, AND keep in my own slowly forming fantasy world...

I would have no idea where to go with the scenery ones...

Waiting for Snow and Indian Girl seem too... real world, I like the fantasy and Sci Fi ones better.

But, you are the Tzar, not me, so...

    hehe, 69....

    Gods I'm childish...

    Psst.

The Ninja Mafia is the real ruler of the world behind-the-scenes.

Actually, that's a common misconception. The ninja mafia works for me, they act as my bodyguard and do various missions for me. It's all top-secret though. Much ado with those pirate rapscallions, mangy bunch.

And that's another misconception. You're all trapped in a matrix-style simulation, under my control, as political prisoners of my Terran Empire. Tough break, guys.

Not exactly. I'm in control of this reality. So therefore I can make a grand piano (for instance) appear directly over your head whenever I please.

I cannot, however, remember how we came to this topic...

Banzai, it's sad to find out that you still don't know about the the virus I've installed which makes it extremely easy to hack into anything I want. The only thing you still possess is that title. Though you not knowing does mean my skills are top-notch, as the Tzar's should be.

    I come bearing more gifts:
    The Human Show
    Cerebrus
    Holding back the flood
    Meet the Dinosaur in Australia
    Late Arrival
    this lullaby
    Broken Dawn
    Pandora
Communication I (read the description as well)

And some things simply due to the fact that some people may enjoy them:
    I
    II
