Did you know there are not one, but two days of silence? They're both supported by different advocacy groups, but are both about equal rights. Technically, one's called "We are Silent", but that doesn't have the same ring to it. The craziest thing? They're in the same week. GLSEN's is on April 11, and Free the Children's is on April 17. I don't know why exactly, maybe April is special? Since they're on the same week anyway, has anyone ever though of combining the two? Just making it a joint effort? And maybe die-hard silence fans could be silent the whole time between the two? Thoughts?
