    Should we only query AAR agents?

    I'm curious if anyone here has taken a chance on querying a non-AAR agent and found success in doing so -- or is it pretty much the consensus that we're only asking for trouble if we do so?

    many non-aar agents are worth signing with... and it can be much easier to get them to rep a new writer's work... just be sure to vet them carefully before approaching any...
