to Wallace Stevens? I absolutely adore his work; he writes about the world very differently from other poets, in a very zen-like fashion... I'd love to read some more poems like this but have yet to come across anything similar. Thanks in advance.
Maybe James Merrill, Donald Justice, or John Ashbery? Or perhaps Mark Strand... He seems indeed to be fairly unique...
