I recently got another spam letter from a vanity corporation. This time telling me that they would like to make my book into a movie. Now that would be ridiculous because my book is a poetry book, with multiple poems and no story line whatsoever. Their email is in fact laughable. If anyone ever gets emails of this kind, make sure to put them all on delete:
maybe poetry with no narrative is the new zeitgeist of holywood film this is of course a scam... they want people to sign up to their list and be charged for it (about 80 quid a year in general), needless to say no legit film company will ever use their list (alfonso curaron is indeed the director of the two completely separate films gravity, and great expectations but he has nothing to do with the email)
"it was recommended by Hollywood Movie Agents that this material suits International Film." Oh boy, you're going to be famous for sure! Thank you for sharing this, I needed a good laugh!! Funny, but also terrible as squeezing money out of peoples' dreams unfortunately continues to be a profitable exercise :/
Hes a well known director https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0190859/ but this email has nothing to do with him, some scammer has stolen his name to misrepresent themselves
Hm. Is it not actually him on that link, because he left behind his contact details? If I were to call that number right now and he were to answer it by some other name, he would sure be busted.
No harm no foul and all that but can you not post live links to these muppets sites - it has the potential to screw up or SEO rating (I eddited it out of your post above)
