Name: Maiya Gwyther Gender: Female Race: Human Age: 22 Appearance: Her black hair trails down to her waist and is quite messy and tangled. Her eyes are a murky green, her skin tan. She wears a peasant dress which at one time had been white and a brown leather corset belt over it. The dress reaches to just above her knees where it jaggedly tapers off, like it's been cut and never sewn back together. Brown leggings lay beneath to cover her long legs, but the fabric is torn in places. Old leather work boots are laced around her ankles. She also occasionally wears a faded green cloak with matted fur around the hood edges. She carries a bow and a quiver full of arrows. Background: Maiya lived in a large forested area in Darn with her father, a hard-working farmer. She never knew her mother who had died after she was born and they associated with none of their relatives. Growing up, she was heavily sheltered and kept away from the evils of the world. She was not allowed to go outside of their forest, and even then she could not go anywhere without the supervision of her hired caretaker, Alina. Although her father was one of the best farmers in the land, he was a hypocrite, and Maiya lived poor due to his unhealthy gambling problem. Sometimes he couldn’t pay Alina what he owed, giving her their crops instead. But, the older woman never minded, for she was practically family. Alina saw much potential in Maiya and took on the task to teach her everything she knew, from history, to other races, and what outside of their forest looked like. On Maiya’s thirteenth birthday Alina gifted her with a handmade bow & arrows. The two of them would go on their own adventures, studying the surrounding wilderness and the circle of life. Maiya was eager to learn and day by day she became a skilled hunter and tracker. But soon it all became not enough for her. She wanted to live out the grand adventures of old that Alina spoke about; she wanted to see the real world for herself! The urge only grew worse with age. Why would her father keep her from the beauties of the world, she’d ask. And her caretaker would reply simply with, your time will come. If only it could've came without a price. When Maiya’s father died of an illness, she was freed from her forested prison to begin a new life, while leaving behind her beloved friend and mentor. Reason for Boarding the Kamela: Because she can! But seriously, she wants to learn and see and hear and do EVERYTHING she can possibly do! (Within reason...sometimes...) Class: Ranger Class Type: Archer Main Strength: Maiya is a pro at archery and can stick a target with her eyes closed! (Well, she’s done it before.) Weakness: Although she has the book smarts, she is still acquiring her street smarts and often has the naive tendency to jump to action without thinking first or trust people too quickly. Any Other Information: Since Maiya has been in the outside world for just a little more than a year, she sees the beauty in everything and has a positive outlook on life. Much of her philosophy and influence was from Alina and she carries the same confidence as the old woman wherever she goes.
@Fan7asticMrFox Hey Fox, just need to know what the currency is in this game to finish up mine and Otaku's co-op. I'd assume it'd be something like bronze, silver, and gold, and something like 100 bronze for one silver, and one hundred silver for one gold., but I could be wrong.
