Hi! I'm familiar with most of the websites above, plus more, and it was nice of you to post them. However, I don't think it's a lack of name resources that drives us to post naming threads. It's choosing the right name. I posted a name thread yesterday because I'm struggling to pick the right surnames for my two main characters. There are millions of names out there and although it's easy to find them it's harder to pick one.
Naming in general is pretty overwhelming with sights. I think people put to much into a name. Remember a person is given their name at birth. Their name has little to do with who they become, except for nicknames. Lisa Smith could be a drunk alchy or a honorable person leading the world to safety. I am not encouraging random names, just saying no one has the perfect name. So look at the popular options and pick one. Some people even have poor names. Reignbeau Rheams? Moxie Crimefighter Jillette?
