Writing a script, and have a scene where the character is trying to find/remember something. The character is Jewish, but also spiritually open-minded, and I have an idea for a funny exchange with another character in which the woman has set up multiple totems or candles or whatever from different cultures in hopes of remembering what she's looking for, but they are actually all contradictory beliefs. So, I'm just wondering what items she might use. I can make things up if I need to, but I'd really prefer to reference actual beliefs if possible. It could be jewelry, ceremonies, teas, totems, prayers/chants, music...buddhism and native american cultures might work well, because she's definitely a character who believes in a connection with the earth, but I'm open to any ideas.
