    Greetings

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by KJ Palmer, Mar 17, 2014.

    Hello folks,

I'm KJ and I've been writing for... well let's just say a long time! I'm currently the author of a series called Charity Kase the Orphan Pirate and my love for history and the ocean inspired the work. I can't call myself an expert or a critic, but I have made a lot of mistakes along the way and I've also learned many valuable lessons that I can impart. I'm snowed in today and figured it would be a great time to brew some coffee, sit back and network with fellow writers!

Thank you for the welcome Ed! The first book has been published and is undergoing distribution. I'm expecting a release date in approximately 4 - 6 weeks! :)

    Best of luck with it.

You'll find that most of the members here are not published writers, while some have published but not their fiction and a few are published fiction writers. All in all, a merry band.

BTW, I, too, have a love of history.

Thanks again Ed! A merry band is all it takes to make for good conversation. What eras of history do you have the most affinity for? I consider myself to be decently versed in the medieval, Renaissance eras as well as the Golden Age of piracy.

From the Age of Discovery onward. I am currently working on a historical novel spanning 500 years.
