Feel free to share your thoughts on the survey or any issues that arose when taking it. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback.
"Is there anything that can be done to improve the site?" "What ideas do you have to improve the site?" "If you could change ONE thing about the site?" "How can we improve the site?" "What's your least favorite aspect about the site?" HAH! Great survey, don't get me wrong. But that same question came up like a million times. It's an important one, and I bet you get different opinions every time. I just thought it was silly.
survey has a gremlin that won't let me get past page 2!... every time i finish that page and hit 'next' it just goes back to it... tried it over and over and no go... here's what i put in the 'what improvement would you like to see' box:
If you haven't answered a question with an asterisk it will kick you back to the same page until you put an answer in.
I've answered everything on the page too, but I am still taken to page two wheneveter I click "next." Then when I click "next," I am taking back to page two. After that, I click "next..." I think you get the picture now.
Thanks guys. I'm not sure what the problem is - it seems most people are able to take the survey fine. The main group who can't are supporting members. I'm still looking into it. I made some changes. Could someone who's had problems try again and get back to me?
Just tried again, but it still takes me back to page two. I will try again and see. I'm not sure how long ago did you try to fix the problem. I just tried again about 10 minuites ago.
From a less technical perspective, there is a lot of redundancy to the survey, if the second page is any indication. Although they are not identical questions, they are similar enough that they could surely be combined.
It let me get to page 3... then threw me back to page 2 and said stay. And stay. And stay. GRRRRRRRRRRR
I'm using Google Chrome, and the survey allow me to get through all of the pages, so it is possibly the browser and not the network.
Let us know if it works? I really don't want Firefox, but at least Daniel might have an idea of the issue.
i use msn, so it seems it doesn't work for a variety of browsers, which makes me think that can't be the problem...
I took the survey fine. One thing I'd add to my responses that I forgot at the time is that I'd like to see greater prominence given to the fledgling book club we run. It can be demoralising for the well-meaning types that organise it to have only two or three participants each month.
