I love pictures of miniatures when you haven't seen them before - with no reference frame in shot they always look so big!
Looks nice. Did you paint it yourself. I use to do the very old pewter D&D miniatures and spend countless hours fully painting them. One of my childhood joys.
My husband has a collection of Napoleonic War soldier models he painted when he was young, at University. He belonged to a war-gaming club, back when they were played in person on a big table. I think he did a great job. They are TINY. Only about an inch high. His best friend still has a roomful of them that HE painted. Horses, cannon, the lot.
MIght have been two of them? One on top of the other, erm...enjoying each other's company? And you just ...well, can't you just leave us alone for a few seconds?
I've been thinking about getting a "camera lucia". If I point it at a mirror reflection of itself, would I be able to draw it, or would I be sucked into a black hole?
When I was walking I saw a Writer's Block and took a picture of it. Now that I have seen it, I can understand what makes it so unsolvable. It's the complexity. © Alan Aspie
This is Sienna, my eldest daughter. She has epilepsy and autism, and likes photography like her grandad, who she's named after.
This is a stocking I completed last year. No idea what to do with it though. Bit odd to fill it for myself.
