You know, I'm something of an artist myself. EDIT: @Cave Troll If you're not a keyboard cat, I'm going to feel cat-fished.
It's a town in Italy which I haven't been to, and it's a colour- a kind of rusty orange. Her 2nd middle name is after her deceased granddad: Brianna.
My niece is named for the same town in Italy (I think), but it's spelled with one n, "Siena". My sister lived there for a year when she was in university and fell absolutely in love with the place, so she named her daughter after it.
Wait, what the Hell, we have a Discord? EDIT: Why do I feel like you just broke the first rule and told me about Fight Club?
No secret that I know of. It was created by Moon when WF was unstable. CT is now the benevolent overlord, but I'm pretty sure I can send an Invite. PM me a Discord ID (with 4-digit number) or email, etc etc... It'll be great to have you aboard.
Few days ago I had an evening walk with one of my kids. Light was nice and trees against it silhuetted in a good way. So I took this. We had to walk to an empty, wet and a bit snowy field for that.
Thank you. Nature was very helpful and my RAW converter helped a bit more. White and blue are the colors of our flag. So there is that dimension also. This photo just took me over 3 000 likes. Did you notice the bright star in the top of a tree? I had to choose my place by it.
A selfie. ©Alan Aspie I sliced a water melon like that. I poked eyes with apple corer. Mouth is carved with a knife. Face in the glass oven tray like this. (You can see the scratches.) Lighted with one daylight lamp which was under it but not straight under. Vignetting, cutting clarity, adding contrast and some other stuff in a RAW converter. You can test and develop your creativity by photographing every day something that does not exist. And it's fun!
I dun me an art. I was kinda sorta trying to echo the bold, striking art style of Darkest Dungeon (video game) and the subject matter therein. Spoiler: Big and nasty inside Man, these low-res JPEGs don't do justice to vector artwork. I'll have to look into some off-site hosting. Anyways, I'm happy with how this turned out. There's more I could have done (and in some places I should probably have done less). The shading is all kinds of arbitrary, among other things. But, it's time to leave well enough alone. Haven't done a proper drawing in forever, and I'm fairly rusty. Feels awesome to be back at it again, though. ETA: I've no idea why the colors seem to have changed after uploading. Everything has this kind of washed-out brown tone now.
Still getting used to wearing glasses, but I think eventually I'll be able to wear them through the day without getting overly irritated. Or maybe not...
