    Technology dilemma

Discussion in 'Plot Development' started by Mindgames, Nov 28, 2008.

I need some help with my plot. The main problem that I'm having right now. I know that the story is supposed to take place in SORT of a 1500-1700s time period (technologically), but its a different world so I'm planning on changing some stuff :D. Does anyone know if theres a website or a place where I can research the technology of different time periods? I'm trying to make sure I don't stick something in that was invented in the 1900s. xD

    Google. Yahoo Search. Find.com.

Don't try to find a single web site for all your information. Even if you find a goldmine with exactly what you were looking for, keep looking. Some "facts" are more reliable than others, some sources more knowkedgeable.

Research is hard work, but it pays off.
