I can't find anything to disagree with either.

#10: In one of his author's notes in a short story collection, Stephen King thanked his "gentle readers" for buying his books and making him rich, but said that even if they stopped, he'd still be writing them. Whichever book it was, I read that nearly thirty years ago and it's endeared him to me ever since. I don't like all his stuff, and there are very valid criticisms of his work out there, but he's always seemed a very decent guy and a good example (post-addictions).

I think I've been every one of those writers at some point or another.

Also reminded me of the nerdiest one liner. There are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand binary and those that don't.

That might be my new mantra. Whenever somebody asks me how the writing is going I'll say, "Great! I wrote 2000 words yesterday and then fucked myself. And today I started two new stories and then fucked myself twice! I'm a little tired from fucking myself tonight, but later I'm going to finish this book from a genre I hate and then write a scathing review indicting the entire genre... and then I'll fuck myself before bed."

Wow. I haven't heard that expression in years! Gave me a little burst of nostalgia just reading it...

LOL, I love it. It is especially fun to use in a professional setting. If I ever get on Judge Judy you best believe I am dropping that gem and maybe a deuce or two.

You're going to drop a deuce on Judge Judy? Possibly that expression mean something different where you are...?

I thought it was actually about lousy writing habits before I clicked, but it turned out to just be about lousy people in general who also happen to be writers.

It's pretty accurate but this guy does sound a bit butthurt and angry.
